

Biography
Eddie's extensive fitness training experience is rooted in the local community. More than ten years ago he began as a tennis instructor in his hometown of Burbank. Since then Eddie has coached and trained all levels of athletes - whether as a volunteer tennis coach for the last six years at the Burbank Center for the Retarded, or as a coach to elite athletes at boot camps and triathlon-based training classes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Eddie has coordinated several health and fitness programs, including:
- training children with cancer in association with Padres Contra El Cancer, and
- leading fitness education and exercise for awareness campaigns about childhood obesity and obesity related diabetes for Los Angeles and Orange County Unified School Districts.
Currently, Eddie is also on staff with Altamed Group in developing fitness training for Hispanic women with HIV/AIDS in East Los Angeles.
Eddie is an accomplished fitness trainer and cycling instructor who understands and communicates the values and benefits of the Kinetic Chain and how it relates to functional movement in condition and fitness training. He has abundant experience with all ages - from very young children to the octogenarian - and can accommodate special needs of either group. Eddie's clientele always cite his warmth and ability to immediately set them at ease.
In 2005, Eddie successfully competed in the North America Ironman Canada, one of the most grueling events in the world of sport and the oldest Ironman race in continental North America. It is considered one of the best Ironman events in the world.
Eddie holds various certifications and works to continue his education in safe and rehabilitative training techniques. He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the International Fitness Professional Association, and also has professional recognition by the IDEA Health and Fitness Association.
He has also received recognition from the California State Senate for his volunteer work in fitness for children and the disadvantaged.
